Consider alternatives to traditional term papers in order to avoid getting a sophisticated version of a high school paper.

Think about the information literacy skills you want students to develop and how a specific assignment may help develop those skills. Content isn’t everything!

Try the assignment yourself in order to determine if it is actually “doable” and takes about the amount of time you think it will.
