Arnold E. Ross/Mathematics

Arnold Ross (1906 - 2002) was the founder of the Ross Mathematics Program, which runs every summer at the Ohio State University. I have taught in the program and have known many former Ross students who were deeply influenced by the legacy of Arnold Ross.

The text above has long been the motto of the Ross Program. This figure, which is not an inversion, is my attempt to capture an image that was dancing around in my head for a year or so.
