Gallery Talk: Alice Oh The sense of space in Oh's paintings is "derived from the multilayered accumulation and composition of the oval shape. She searches for the delicate boundaries of the medium by introducing a subtle degree of shifts in transparency, opacity and brilliance of color and light.

Visiting Artist Lecture: Katherine Gagnon
Katherine Gagnon is an artist and writer based in Baltimore, MD. She holds a Master in Fine Arts from the LeRoy E. Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Gagnon recieved her B.A. from Colby College in Maine, majoring in Art with concentrations in Art History and Studio Art. Katherine is teaching an intro drawing class at SMCM this semester and is the Artist House artist in residence.

Gallery Talk: Lynn Tomaszewski
Lynn Tomaszewski creates work inspired by generative systems. The paintings in theBoyden Gallery exhibition are about directed action and series play – both individual and collective. How we act is how we learn which leads to what we know. Scaling these ideas up, Tomaszewski considers issues of how we consume, how we effect our environment, what we leave behind, and, ultimately whether we survival at all.
