Explain the following key concepts presented in this essay (no less than 150 words for each.) You should quote the text but when explaining, try to restate ideas in your own words and use concrete examples. Some of these terms/ideas are interrelated extra points if you can note those connections.

2. Advertisement Analysis

a.       Read PDF #4b as an example of a semiotic analysis of a Tiffany advertisement.

b.       Find an advertisement or other media image of your choice and write (no less than 1200 words) your own analysis addressing the denotative, connotative, and ideological layers of its meaning (using the Tiffany ad as a model).



3. Submit: This assignment including embedded ad image and prefaced by this assignment page should be printed for your notebooks.
