Design Create
a design presentation for a long-term project of your choosing. Presentation
should include 1) a first draft of an intention statement 2) model(s), 3)
drawings, 4) a beginning artist
source list (bring some images and books with you), and 5) material sample
studies (showing construction details, materials use, surfacing, etc.) 6) a schedule
describing benchmarks and completion dates. DUE
M 14 Research: Select two artists
(one of your choosing, one assigned in presentation review) that most relate
to your project. Write a research bibliography (both books/periodicals and 2
of the best web sites) And
then write a source-to-self essay for each artist (3 pages ea.) Each of
these essays should include a brief description of the artistŐs intentions
and the conceptual position of their work (1.5 pages) and a thoughtful
comparison to your work and intentions to theirs (1.5 pages). Post to web
site w/ bibliography DUE
