The mathematics faculty recommends that students who intend to major in mathematics take MATH191: Calculus Seminar I MATH192: Calculus Seminar II concurrently with their calculus courses. MATH191/192: An investigation of the theoretical foundation of calculus. Completeness of the real number system, precise definitions of limits and continuity of functions and of convergence and summability of sequences, proofs of some of the basic theorems of calculus. 1 credit course MATH 191 is offered (F03) on Tuesdays 2-2:50 by Professor Ivan Sterling in SH164.
